1. Introduction

Twitmatic helps creators ship smarter content with AI. Protecting the information you entrust to us is core to how we operate. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, the choices you have, and the safeguards we maintain. When you access or use Twitmatic, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three primary ways: information you provide directly, information gathered automatically, and information from third parties.

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account details such as name, email address, and profile photo
  • Workspace preferences, saved drafts, templates, and uploads
  • Billing and contact information when you purchase a subscription
  • Support requests, feedback, and survey responses

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

  • Log data, including IP address, device identifiers, browser type, and timestamps
  • Usage metrics such as features used, prompts submitted, and response times
  • Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to remember settings and measure performance

2.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Authentication providers (for example Google OAuth) supply profile basics we need to create your account
  • Payment processors share limited billing status information so we can manage your subscription
  • Analytics partners provide aggregated reports about engagement trends

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to deliver a helpful, reliable experience. Uses include:

  • Authenticate you, personalize your dashboard, and sync your workspaces
  • Generate, analyze, and store AI-assisted drafts at your direction
  • Provide customer support, respond to requests, and resolve issues
  • Monitor uptime, defend against abuse, and keep the platform secure
  • Research and develop new features, including training and tuning AI systems using aggregated, de-identified data
  • Send transactional updates, onboarding tips, and marketing messages (you can opt out of promotional emails)
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Twitmatic uses first-party and third-party cookies to remember preferences, keep you signed in, analyze traffic, and improve marketing performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit certain features such as persistent login or personalization.

We may also use web beacons, pixels, and local storage to measure campaign effectiveness and reduce friction in the product experience.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: Trusted vendors assist with hosting, data processing, analytics, support, and payment operations. They access data solely to perform contracted services.
  • Team collaboration: When you invite teammates to your workspace, they can view and edit shared drafts, assets, and analytics.
  • Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: If Twitmatic is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of the transaction with notice to you.

We may publish aggregated or de-identified insights (for example, average thread length or industry benchmarks) that do not identify individual users.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we remove personal data within 30 days, unless retention is required for billing, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. Backup copies are purged on a regular schedule.

You can export drafts, analytics, and billing history before cancellation by contacting support.

7. Security

We implement technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure development practices, access controls, and routine monitoring. While no system is perfectly secure, we continuously evaluate new tools and procedures to protect your information.

If you suspect unauthorized activity, contact us immediately at security@twitmatic.site so we can investigate and take action.

8. International Transfers

Twitmatic is operated from the United States with infrastructure in multiple regions. When you use the Service, your information may be transferred to, stored, or processed in countries outside your own. We rely on approved transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards to protect data subject to EU, UK, and other international regulations.

9. Children’s Privacy

Twitmatic is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. These rights may include:

  • Accessing and receiving a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Correcting inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Requesting deletion of your personal information
  • Objecting to or restricting certain processing activities
  • Withdrawing consent for marketing communications
  • Submitting a complaint to your local data protection authority

To exercise your rights, email privacy@twitmatic.site with your request. We may need to verify your identity before processing it.

11. Third-Party Links and Integrations

Twitmatic may contain links to external sites or integrate with platforms like X (Twitter). Those services operate independently of us and have their own privacy policies. Review those policies carefully; we are not responsible for their practices.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features, regulatory requirements, or security improvements. If changes are material, we will notify you via email or an in-app banner and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the revised Policy.

Significant changes may require renewed consent where required by law.

We are committed to transparent privacy practices. Reach out anytime with questions or feedback.
